Dulux Trade Weathershield Textured Masonry Paint - Pure Brilliant White - 5 Litre

Dulux Trade Weathershield Textured Masonry Paint is a fine texture emulsion, based on an acrylic resin. This water based masonry paint gives a fine, granular finish, allows a higher build on exterior masonry and contains a fungicidal to inhibit the growth of mould on the paint film. Fast drying time of just 1-2 hours and re-coatable in 2-4 hours.

Note: Not suitable for common or fletton bricks or parapet, freestanding or retaining walls below ground level damp course, as it may be difficult to stop moisture penetration and consequent coating failure. It can increase the risk of frost damage and spalling of the brickwork or stonework

Ensure that the area to be painted is clean, dry and free from debris.

• Remove all dirt, grease or chalking paint with a detergent solutionand rinse with clean water.
• Scrape back any loose of flaking material to a sound surface and gently rub down broken edges of existing coatings to feather and create a key.
• Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens, algae and moss with Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash.
• Make good minor defects with an appropriate filler. Use a sand and cement mix for larger holes and cracks and allow to dry.
• Surfaces that remain powdery, friable or chalky after thorough preparation should be sealed with a coat of Weathershield Stabilising Primer.

Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Always perform a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• New or bare surfaces should be sealed with a coat of 5 parts Weathershield Textured Masonry Paint thinned with 1 part water.
• Generally, 2 full coats of Weathershield Textured Masonry Paint are required, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be enough.
• Apply with a brush, roller or conventional spray. Do not use in extremes of temperatures below 7°C or during rain, fog or relative humidity above 80%.
• When using a conventional sprayer always ensure they are compatible for use with textured materials. When thinning add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint.

  If placed on a working day before 3pm, the AM Delivery will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

We do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

Faulty Items

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
